The Quarter is going through some big changes and we are really excited about it. Jackson-based StateStreetGroup, which recently co-developed The Meridian in Fondren, is now working on renovating The Quarter.
The first phase of the renovations will focus on developing The Quarter Lofts which will be high-end, Class A loft apartment units that will compare favorably to the newest apartment developments in Jackson.
The 12 one-bedroom and two-bedroom loft units will be available this October and will feature chef-inspired kitchens with granite countertops, tile backsplash, kitchen islands, stainless steel appliances and more.
Residents will have convenient access to The Quarter’s existing and expanded retail businesses, including local institution Cups Espresso Café. Near term plans also include the addition of a high-quality restaurant tenant in a currently-available end-cap space that fronts onto Lakeland Drive.
Justin Peterson, General Counsel of StateStreetGroup, is particularly excited to be overseeing this project since he works and lives in LeFleur East with his wife Anna and, their three children.
The Quarter Lofts are part of a broader renovation of the property, which will include a completed and updated façade of The Quarter along Lakeland Drive.
