Favorite ways to celebrate Mother’s Day in LeFleur East according to Kristy Simms.
- Favorite brunch place: Our family’s favorite Sunday brunch spot is River Hills. Plenty of choices for everyone and the kids love the dessert table!
- Favorite gift shop: For great hostess, birthday or thank you (or Mother’s Day) gifts, you can’t beat Watercolor in Maywood Mart. They stock the best lotions, candles and speciality Mississippi food items, perfect for any occasion.
- Favorite activity: Maybe this doesn’t count as an activity for Mother’s Day itself, but I love the new Orangetheory in the District! The workouts are a great challenge and the coaches are fantastic!
- Favorite skin/body place: I am a huge fan of the Nail Lounge in Highland Village. Not only do they do a beautiful job, the salon is bright and sunny, just like the people who work there.
- Where to board your dog if you are going away for the weekend? We always take our dog to Briarwood Animal Hospital.
