Have you spotted some of our beautification signs in LE?
We are currently working with Green Oak Florist & Garden Center on beautifying Ridgewood Road.
Here is a recap of the beautification process that started on October 4th:
The Green Oak team started to cut tall vegetation down low to prevent obvious dead vegetation from the street view.
Then, they blew and bagged all the debris and non- organic trash on the sidewalk. The last step was to spray a contact and preventive herbicide on any remaining vegetation and dirt that would germinate weed in the future.
This treatment should last anywhere from six months to a year. Green Oak and LeFleur East will work together and re-assess in March to see if any new dirt has been introduced that could potentially allow weeds to germinate and grow. If so, this treatment will need to be re-applied.
